Kim's opened at 10am. I got on line at Other Music 10:30 (for 11am opening), and the line was already about 80 people deep. Number of folks went to Kim's first and then came to Other Music. Went to Kim's later (around 12:30), and they still had a lot of good stuff (eg, Velvet Underground, Live 1969 reissue!).
Also went to Generation, Rockit Scientist, A-1, and Academy (where Stephen Merritt of Magnetic Fields was hanging out with his dog).
