Immaculate renovation

Just an update on the renovations at the Immaculate Conception Church on East 14th Street and First Avenue, which is not being converted into an NYU dorm.

  1. Speaking of NYU dorms, do you have any idea what's up with the old Cooper Union engineering building? Originally, I believe there were plans to sell it to a developer to turn into luxury condos, but I think that fell through and now I wonder if NYU is casting its eye that way as part of its EV domination - I mean expansion - plan...

  2. Good question, Googla. There had been talk of demolishing the building... but with the new zoning, this space won't likely work as a dorm... and the Film Academy spent all that $$ to renovate the old Starbucks space...
