Two closings: Amaya and Pinisi

Amaya thai eatery on Fourth Street near Avenue B appears to be closed....

Ditto for Pinisi bakery, which opened here on First Avenue near Second Street in May 2009....

  1. Oh, no, I liked Pinisi. They made spicy desserts I've not found anywhere else. Good coffee, too.

  2. I meant to check on the status of the East 4th St. location... wasn't sure of their relationship... Haven't frequented either place much....

  3. Please check on the status of the E. 4th st location. Pinisi's red velvet cupcakes are my absolute favorite and I can't imagine not eating them on a weekly basis. Plus, the owner is the sweetest man ever. Fingers crossed that they're still open!
