The willow trees of Loisaida

After my post Friday about a possibly endangered willow tree on 11th Street... I decided to photograph a few of the other willows near Avenue C...

Enjoy them while you can... you never know when one will be removed...

  1. I spent my Saturday doing the exact same thing. It was such a beautiful day I couldn't help but smile. Those trees really make it feel like a different place and time.

  2. Thank you! I love this trees.

Side note: I once saw one man administer a bump of cocaine to another man in a wheelchair under the willow in the first photo.
