Fat Sal's coming to Avenue A

APizzA closed on Avenue A in early February. A tipster notes that the space will become home to the fifth NYC location of Fat Sal's.

So... anyone ever eaten a slice from Fat Sal's?

  5. This is the 4th 5th or 6th (I have lost count) pizza dump that has gone into that location- hence i have had to endure just as many renovations living adhacent to this location - invariabley on weekends and after hours- construction from 10 am to 8 pm on a saturday- I PRE-HATE these people and want to tell them exactly where they will be in 6 to 12 months: out of business. Its like the same people keep coming back to tear it apart fix it up creat a smelly vermin filled hole and abandon their rubish like so much NYU vomit. Emblamatic of everything wrong in the last 10 years in NYC and esp east village

  8. Who eats at these places enough to convince one developer after another that there is an endless demand for bad pizza in the EV? Lots of people must, but I have never met any of them. Like, is anyone ever making that tough decision between fat sals and two boots? Or arguing w their friends about which is better?

  10. Fat Sal's has good pizza and they are generous to schools and other community groups that need donations or discounts for events. That's enough reason for me to buy a slice there!
