More on the Mars Bar 'Memories' coverup

Earlier today, we posted a photo of the new sobering, end-is-nearing Mars Bar marquee — "thanks for the memories."

Meanwhile, thanks to @damienadupont for these shots of the work in progress from the weekend ...

Thanks to @damienadupont for these shots...

  1. Does anybody know when Mars is going to shut down? This is as sad as ET blowing down in the Mystery Lot. Can you put up something cheery EV Grieve? I'm a little depressed over here.

  3. Last I heard, it was going to be summer, but who knows. More reason to come out this Sunday (Easter) and participate in the new art show...and pray for a resurrection.

  6. @Goggla: I'll check it out when I get home. I can't see the photos because the computers here at work suck!

  9. My brother and I stumbled into the place for the first time during an all nighter in early February. We looked around and enjoyed the sights and atmosphere, decided we had already had too much to drink and left. If we had know it was closing maybe we would have stayed for a drink. Oh well - opportunity lost but life continues.
