Smiles, everyone, smiles! The Google Street View car is in the East Village!
Bob Arihood caught the car in action yesterday. (Neither More Nor Less)

The same car drove past me on West Third Street back in the middle of June. At present, Google Street View is still showing an image of that block which is more than a year old. If in fact my photo was taken then, or Bob's was yesterday, neither one of us should hold our breath waiting for it to appear.
ReplyDeleteI looked recently, and noticed that the movies showing at the Village East Cinema were from June 2009.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sad when Luster no longer shows the Mariah Carey sign. The good old days.
ReplyDeleteIt caught me on the corner of Broome and Wooster. The current street view won't let you 'travel' down the street and there is a truck in the way, so maybe that's the reason for re-shooting...or, do they do this regularly? If so, I imagine they'll eventually have an interesting collection of time-lapse footage.
ReplyDeleteHey, *they're* not supposed to be evil, but there's nothing that says *we* can't be....
