It's just another Saturday night on Avenue A

And on Saturday evening, this party bus rolled up to Diablo Royale on Avenue A... where a bridal party/bridesmaids extravaganza spilled out into the bar... an EV Grieve reader captured a moment of all this bar-hopping glory...

In total, the reader estimates the party bus idled here in front of the bar for a good 20 minutes or so...

... and a little video ...

  3. Love the title "Just Another Saturday Night on Avenue A", though it could read "Just Another Thursday, Friday or Saturday. . ." yet the CB and NY State Liquor Authority think that we need more bars/lounges on Ave A. When you turn the corner on 14th an A and begin to walk down the street, the roar of the crowds and the blasting music harkens to the boardwalk down the jersey shore - hmm was that where they thought they were?

  6. What is that on her head? I love the Jersey plates and the look on the driver's face in the video.

Bet that guy has seen it all.

  7. i have a little song i sing out loud when i'm forced to walk around my 'hood on a Thur, Fri or Sat evening

    "Every-thing's a par-ty,
    Every-things bus-y...

    Every-thing's a par-ty,
    Every-things bus-y..."

of course since you guys can't hear my melody or condescension it loses a little bit of its fun & impact, but it's definitely sweeping the nation

  8. @evilsugar25 - maybe you should ask the woman on the video hanging out of the bus, with the funny hat/ears to be one of your back-up singers, she could sing "yeah, yeah, party bus" as the chorus to your little ditty.

  9. This must be some kind of package deal through Concorde Worldwide.

For an extra $9.99 each guest is entitled to anything off of the leftover brunch menu and a half a glass of port wine.

  10. That party bus is parked in an MTA bus stop zone. See the license plate? That's a fine, folks. Fine fine fine.

The State already regulated the tour buses (remember that nasty crash) so are they waiting for some major fatalities from these before they get on this?

The idling alone beneath people's windows is a major health hazard.
