Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
"fashion and media-based" does not equal "soulful." sorry.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if "steady work history" applies to those who have been unemployed recently. Does anyone know the salary?
ReplyDelete@Goggla - It's probably shift pay + tips. A friend of mine worked at the Sunset Standard years ago and did alright. It wasn't her dream job, but she served enough big tipping celebs to make it tolerable.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing they aren't going too hardcore about gaps. What does matter is that you have some fairly recent experience, preferably at a high-volume, trendy place, and how you look. Honestly, if you're really cute, restaurant/bar experience might not even matter.
