This weekend (and next!): It's the 7th annual d.b.a. holiday fair

  1. Full disclosure, Mrs Spike and I organize this every year. It's good fun. Come by and say hi, browse and have a beer with us. Maybe find a unique holiday gift as well. One less thing to grieve about in the East Village!

  3. Again, I read this as 7-11 -- I've been brainwashed and it's occupying my mind...aaaahhhhh.

Anyhoo, been going to this for the past 4 years. Good stuff and times.

  5. Artisans?
Isn't that a dirty word these days? Or is just the adjective objectionable?
    Kidding, kidding -- it's a fine event.

  6. @Babydave: All the artisanal artisans are organic and locally sourced for your protection.

  7. @ Spike

    But are they mineral-infused?

  8. @ EVG. I'm glad you asked me that! While not minerally-infused, it is my great belief we will all be infused with the many high quality offerings of ales, stouts and spirits on offer at DBA! The lovely Gina, behind the bar, will be happy to serve you with a smile. Tell her Spike sent ya!
