Biker Billy Lives

Spotted these "Biker Billy Lives" messages around various walls the last day or two...

There's Biker Bill, a regular through the years at Bob Arihood's Neither More Nor Less...

Biker Bill Says : "What Do You Mean ... Do I Twitter?"
[Bob Arihood]

There were rumors going back five months or so that Biker Bill had passed away. No one ever confirmed that. But then, some people don't recall seeing Biker Bill of late. I thought I saw him a few weeks ago outside Ray's.

Of course, there's the imposter Biker Billy.

Definitely haven't seen him lately.

Does Biker Billy live?

  1. I really miss Bob's coverage of people. He was a portal into lives I would never otherwise know...and here is an instance where someone is missed, but we (people outside of Bill's immediate circle) have no way of knowing if he's ok. Any updates would be appreciated.

  2. Absolutely, Goggla. I went to NMNL last night to find an image of Biker Bill to post here. I ended up spending a good 75 minutes revisiting some of Bob's posts.

I'd really like to see how Bob would chronicle the growing encampment in front of the former East Village Farms.

  3. Re: EV Farms
One of the younger regular crusties was sitting in the new group the other night when I was carrying grocery bags from Key in both hands. I was sort of staring off into space as I was walking, the bandana kid starting waving hello until I snapped back in to focus on him. I gave him a smile and a nod back.
Now the "blind" black guy is saying hello to me in the mornings on my way to work.
