    Never in my entire life, and I've been there since the 1950 to 1997, have I seen St Marks as deserted and empty as in your Gem Spa photo. The inhabitants have destroyed life, how pathetic. That's something to be proud of?

    Hi Mick. The Gem Spa photo was taken two days after Hurricane Sandy... probably not the best day to get a feel of what the street life is like...

    I was just saying to my husband it's like they've turned East 14th into everywhere else for the NYU kids, with just a bit of quirk to give it a cool factor for the.

    Of these I like EVG's Nov. 1 shot. This is ironic to say but to me it's quite a vivid image. It really takes me back. That's how I felt. The nights were so dark.
