Mayor Bloomberg gave his last State of the City address today

Fuck. And I missed his 73rd 12th and final speech.

Gothamist has the "Top 10 Quotes From Bloomberg's Final State Of The City" as well as copy of the whole shebang speech. Find that here.

Apparently he talked a lot about "development," per this Gothamist graphic.

  2. hey, before the next guy comes into office can we let them know that reducing the size of high sugar drinks does nothing to help people but only makes them spend more to get the fluid that they actually need in their bodies. If you really want to help people why not try reducing the amount of sugar allowed in the drinks to begin with. The human body is made up of between 55 to 65% water for women and men respectively- WE NEED WATER!! which is what most of our drinks are made of to begin with - simply keep the water content higher, reduce the #/quantity of additives ie SUGAR and you do something for the populus, not create a way for your friends to make more money by having people spend more to provide themselves what it is they truly need and require.

In addition he may at the same time need to speak to Mr Obama and let him know that it's not about preschool it's about getting kids out of high school and having them go on to higher education to have something to lend to the world. The new preschool education BS is a way to make sure that they start the new/next generation to being submissive to the new higher control standards that the government is beginning to place on all of us. Get them dumbed down early so they won't be a nuisance that's their agenda.

  3. Its worth watching the beginning of the video of the speech -- he has the Brooklyn Nets cheerleaders start the event off. Kinda weird.

  5. Did anyone notice? The platform he spoke from not only rendered him slightly taller than 5 feet, but was entirely formed of styrofoam.

  6. I learned that innocent people don't like to be shot. But also, they shouldn't care about the Constitution.
