  1. Goodbye, old friend. You, like so many other wonderful things gone from the old EV, will be missed.

  2. Agree...yet can't convince myself to go in one last time.

And walking by the destruction of MHoC was sad, too.

  3. You can really tell by the almost complete lack of interest here on the closing of such an old place as Odessa, what an absolute insult their food and service has become in the last 10 or 12 years.

Why they have become able to even fry a couple eggs and put it next to some potato and sausage is a mystery, but between amazingly idiotic service and horrible chow, you will be guaranteed a bad scene walking into that place.

Back in the day when their bathrooms were a favorite spot for junkies to bang a quick shot or crackheads to cook up some powder, you could get a decent meal and basic service. Maybe that was a critical part of the chemistry?

  4. Great cheap dive bar where anything goes. Will miss it, the bad radio behind the bar, and the cheesy xmas lights, and the ability to get greasy food in the middle of a bender right to your table!

  5. Went by tonight for a last dinner and it was closed, sign in the window saying goodbye. Think they are history already.

  6. @ Gojira

They are usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays... I heard it straight from staff that this coming Saturday is the last night... they'll be open tomorrow through then, I'm sure...
