Caught in the act, [Williams] struggled with the resident, but then broke free and tried to make a quick getaway through the window – only to fall five stories.
CBS reports that he ended up with two broken legs and a fractured skull.
Good.
ReplyDeleteKarma.
ReplyDelete....and why is someone with 17 prior convictions not in a forced labor camp making iPads?

It's crazy to hear that someone with 17 prior convictions isn't in jail. Thank god no one else got hurt.
ReplyDeleteAre they sure it wasn't another rooftop rager???
ReplyDeleteToo bad he didn't take out a few loud and drunk frat boys. Crazy noisy weekend in the hood.
ReplyDeleteIf he fell five floors in 2nd Ave. in the "Lower East Side", according to the Daily News, which is located in the Lower SouthEast Side, then he landed in SoMa or South of Manhattan.
ReplyDeleteHa ha!!! Too bad that's all that happened to him.
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea the story behind the story.
Delete"Good"? Real nice.
ReplyDeleteOkay everyone I know what it is like to robbed but I don't think rejoicing over the thief's near death fall is cool. Thieves suck but all that stuff can be replaced, get apartment insurance, don't confront someone which can lead to one or both of you getting hurt. Remember most things we buy are outdated in a couple of years anyway.
ReplyDeletekfbeau, noted. But with 17 prior CONVICTIONS (not just arrests) pretty much says this guy is due to turn in his card carrying membership to the human race.

ReplyDelete#1 the stuff I own is not outdated a few years later
#2 what is you address that I should send the bill for apartment insurance to
Watch him turn around a sue the person he stole from.
ReplyDeletekfbeau, thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If you really believe in what you say, go up to the hospital and pay his bill in full so we taxpayers aren't stuck with it. I dare you.
ReplyDeleteIt was windy. Maybe Derek fell all the way to 2nd Ave.
ReplyDeleteChecking on a map, this place has been a target for burglaries for decades. My friends were robbed while living there back int eh late 80s. And another set of friends just 10 years ago. Seems like one of those places that's very easy to climb up fire escapes and make your way in.
ReplyDeleteAs they say, play stupid games, win stupid prizes
ReplyDeleteAnd a bit more trash gets taken out. No tears from me.
