Rental? I'd read condo elsewhere? Hmmmmmmm.

ReplyDeleteThe official news release about Westside Market opening in the retail space mentions that the store will be housed in the base of "a new luxury rental building."
Apparently the hot market now is rental, not condos.
ReplyDeleteSee my remark re 100 Avenue A. Same goes for this turd.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course the hot market here is for rentals, not condos - landlords in the EV are not looking for people who want to put down roots and stay a while, they much prefer transients, because each time the woo-ing hobos leave, they can jack the rents up. Turnover = profit, and that's all that matters to them.
Grieve,
ReplyDeleteCan I just tell you how much I love the term "bendy thing" (4th linked post at the bottom of the page)?
It is perfect on so many levels!
The bricks and mullions make this building tolerable looking from the street. But the windows are too big, too out of proportion like they are in all new buildings because glass is cheaper and apparently the people who would rent/own units in them require huge views.
