It was the kind of day where someone was randomly playing a tuba on Avenue A

Avenue A and East 10th Street via Anton van Dalen. Did this have anything to do with the cranes?

  1. It's a Sousaphone! (marching version of a Tuba)

  2. I sometimes play my sousaphone when I'm walking down the street with it. Because as long as you're walking down the street with a giant ridiculous instrument, you might as well play it, and because it keeps drunken fratboys from demanding that you PLAY SOMETHINGGG BRAAAAAH.

    But that is not me.

Someone finally directed him to the bike lane and he walked back over the bridge to "Look At Me Land" AKA Brooklyn.

  6. I was so hungover and I had a trumpet blazing into one ear and that damn Tuba in the other. SAXAMAPHONE.

  7. I heard this from my window but couldn't see, and wondered why he didn't play a song, it was frustrating, he was just playing random notes every now and then, and none in a row.
