Woo, here it is. The new transformer for the Con Ed substation that has blocked traffic on Avenue A this weekend.

This will be a painstaking precision operation…



… so the new transformer doesn't end up inside Sophie's.

    A "New Transformer"??? A giant crane named "Bay"??? Methinks something is afoot............

    It must have been especially challenging with the electrified sidewalk in front of the station.
