Blessing of Pets
In Honor of St. Francis of Assisi
Saturday Oct. 4
1 PM
Immaculate Conception Church
East 14th Street and 1st Avenue
Note: Pets need not be Catholic to be blessed.
Cats are agnostic at best, but it sure is fun taking their grumpy fuzzy butts to be blessed anyway. "Mooooom! Stop sprinkling water on me!" etc. Now I know how my parents felt when they sent me to CCD

From my first grade religion class I know that animals don't have souls but they do like to go to church once per year.
ReplyDeletegood, because I'm pretty sure cats are not Catholic. They know perfectly well they are gods themselves.
