The boxes are also showing up in downtown San Francisco. Either this is how the world ends or its just a marketing gimmick for an iPhone scheduling app.

ReplyDeleteAfter burning through $140 million in investments. Quirky, that wacky company that brought you Wink (aka the "Robot Butler" which was actually just a lame remote control power switch that was recalled last April due to a major security flaw) and those cute squiggly power strips you see in every other NYU dorm room, has run out of money and is closing down. Not only did the company fail, but so did most of their crowd-sourced products. So if you were hoping for a Robot Butler under the Christmas tree this year, too bad, you are more likely to win the lottery and hook up with a drunk Pam Anderson at SantaCon.
