Rocky picture show



Animal-control officers from the NYPD responded to a report of a sick or wounded raccoon yesterday in Tompkins Square Park...

    More likely he came from the parkland along the East River, or he's a native. I'd love to pick his brain about what it was like back in the day.

    he's probably native to the park. studies show that raccoons keep very limited habitats. they don't venture more than one or two blocks in their daily movement.

    Raccoons are normally mostly nocturnal. Yes, looks young, but, I am always very cautious around a raccoon seen in broad daylight. It might mean it has rabies.

    I finally saw the weird bird and I miss the rabid raccoon. The park is turning into a zoo. Thank Obama!

    A racoon came into our apartment on East 5th Street through an open window a few weeks ago. We screamed. He/she left.
