Noted
Some residents are really ready to have this VW removed from Seventh Street between Avenue A and First Avenue.
Anyone know how long the car, with the handmade "tow me" messages, has been here?
The city tagged the car for "investigation and removal by N.Y.P.D. rotation tow" on May 13...

Is the street melting underneath the back tire?
ReplyDeleteWhy do they want it towed? It seems like a nice car.

ReplyDeleteMaybe they don't want to pay the sanitation fines issued to the building due to a candy wrapper being stuck under one of the tires. (yes, you better believe this happens)
Sanitation? I tol you to tell em you was in a sanitaRIUM?
ReplyDeleteYou shoulda told dem you wuz a horse dey woulda let you go.
So if I want to I can just leave my car (this is hypothetical, I don't have one) in place for weeks on end and nothing happens? Not even tickets?
ReplyDeletewhat gives people the right to damage the car? I don't get it. Maybe the owner is struggling, or had to rush out of town for a death or something.
