Squish Marshmallows only taking appointments for the summer

In case you had plans to pop into Squish Marshmallows in the weeks ahead, the sweets shop at 120 St. Mark's Place between Avenue A and First Avenue is only open by appointment this summer ... as well as via online ordering or delivery.

Our location is still operational, and we're still shipping and catering from our facility, as well as hosting some fun events and pop-ups and private parties at our space (including this Saturday 6/15, and next Friday 6/21)! I've been following this shop since it opened. I have several ongoing bets with friends on how long this place would last. Unfortunately, I lost these bets, as somehow its stayed open despite NO customer activity for longer than expected. How you think you can charge $3+ for some silly marshmellows and remain on St. Marks is beyond me. I'm betting my bottom dollar that they do not open back up in the fall, though.
