The last outpost of Ricky's, located on Broadway between 12th Street and 13th Street, recently closed... and workers today were removing remaining items (essential work?).
During its heyday, there were nearly two dozen Ricky's in the city, but
the kitschy retailer started to close storefronts in recent years. The Broadway outpost
had been selling pandemic-related cleaning products this spring.
