Last day for Himalayan Vision on 2nd Avenue

Today is the last day for Himalayan Vision, 127 Second Ave. between Seventh Street and St. Mark's Place.

As we reported this past Monday, Tenzin, who runs the Tibetan shop with his wife Sonam, said he simply couldn't make the rent anymore and decided to close after 23 years in business.

The shop is open until 8 p.m.

Steven notes that there is a rack with free items outside...

  2. 1) Can we please get an update on the CAT?

    2) Wishing them the best in all their future endeavors. The East Village will be less colorful and less diverse without this shop. Namaste.

  3. Indeed, what about the cat? Another great family business departs the EV. This family and their business will be missed. Good luck in their next endeavor.
