Dude, it's not a "cheese slice," it's just a SLICE. Without cheese, it ceases to be a pizza.
ReplyDeleteThere are pizzas that are made without cheese bruh.
ReplyDeletePeople often ask for a "cheese" slice to differentiate it from the other from the other slices that come with toppings. Personally I usually just ask for a slice, or two, and point at the pie or slice I woulds prefer, typically the one that has a well baked crust. Cheese on a pie has nothing to do whether it's pizza or not. I've had many tasty non cheese slices in Rome. It's called Pizza Rossa. Bread and Salt in Jersey City makes them and I'm sure there must be a bunch of places in Brooklyn where you can some as well. The dough is more elaborate (oil is added) and the sauce is infused with fresh herbs.
ReplyDeleteNah, in New York you don't say "cheese" slice, that's so weird. It's a slice. Yes, some pizza doesn't have cheese, and you can say whatever that specific slice is. But a regular slice is a slice.
