Poem by EVG, with obvious inspiration
from Clement Clarke Moore
’Twas the night before Halloween, when all through the store
Not a creature was stirring — except for the giant body bag hanging from the ceiling.
P.S.
We now have our fifth sighting... at this rate, we've got a trends cover story on our hands!

Huge fan of Stacie's work because it is the responsibility of a journalist to document the moment and give it context. Not aware of anyone who is currently doing that in the EV with such curiosity , courage, and attention to detail. That said, I can't share the amusement she seems to find in this particular brand of macabre display that reminds me more of lynchings and serial killers than of a good Halloween scare. And while EVG is usually ahead of the trend, in this case rural racists and Amazon have been at it for a while.
Body bags are sad, not so funny.
I agree. Seems to be representative of the desensitization of society from the constant onslaught of violence we view daily in the media/internet. This is how we now cope with it, by laughing at it head on..... strange.
