Tiki Tiki closes East Village space

After seven months, Tiki Tiki has closed its East Village outpost at 14 First Ave. between First Street and Second Street. 

Ownership told us via an Instagram message that they are relocating to Astoria. 

The business — A TikTok-friendly "sweet tooth's paradise featuring churros, skillet cookies, waffle sticks, and more" — also has outposts in Kew Gardens and West New York, N.J.

Openings: Tiki Tiki on First Avenue

Tiki Tiki, described by the business as "a sweet tooth's paradise featuring churros, skillet cookies, waffle sticks and more," is now open at 14 First Ave. between First Street and Second Street. 

This is the third Tiki Tiki in the metropolitan area, a spin-off business from chocolate specialist Sticky Tiki. The EV outpost is open daily from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. and closes at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

No. 14 was previously home to successive illegal smoke shops that were shuttered.

A dessert shop called Tiki Tiki is opening at 14 First Ave. between First Street and Second Street. 

Per the brand's Instagram account, they offer "Churros, Skillet Cookies, Waffle Sticks & MORE!" 

There's a Tiki Tiki in West New York, N.J., with outposts on the way in the EV and in Queens.

This is apparently a spin-off business from chocolate specialist Sticky Tiki.
