Will soon be home to Heartbreak Cafe, which will apparently feature German/Swiss fare. And they were up for a beer/wine license this past March. A liquor license is pending. One of the names on the liquor license belongs to Christos Valtzoglou, the owner of the Greek eatery Pylos on Seventh Street.

I'd be delighted if this place were like Pylos: accommodating staff that seems to take pride in their work, and reasonably priced, well-prepared food. (And in my heart of hearts, I'm hoping that it's a bit like Roetelle AG, which I still miss--particularly the backyard grapevines!)
It may be the German flag's colors, but the German flag it is not. The flag of Germany is three bars, black, red and yellow, from the top down. This plywood has more to do with Belgium then Deutschland.
At first glance I thought these were rasta colors.

Have you been by here lately? I'm curious as to the progress it's made because the flag is now altered to the proper German pattern.
