Going to the Shepard Fairey mural, and we're going to get married...

Oh my. In case you haven't seen this shot that Jill posted on Blah Blog Blah... On their wedding day, a couple apparently stopped to have photos taken in front of the illegal (maybe!) Shepard Fairey mural on Houston and the Bowery...

There's so much I want to know. Was this a planned stop? Or were they just motoring by in the Bride Mobile and spontaneously decided to combust stop? Or did the happy couple drive all over the city and have their photos taken in front of things, like the Kiss Mural outside Nice Guy Eddie's? (Now THAT is romantic!)

On a Sunday (Blah Blog Blah)

  1. and may they live happily ever after.

the bowery is turning into vegas, anyhoo.

next thing you know, there'll be a vegas-style chapel nearby. oh, wait, there is one already.

  2. Sheppard Fairy is a tool. and his "work" says nothing, is more mainstream than one could think possible. I can not even contain my complete disgust for this garbage. And I can only assume he is doing the mural with his own hands? Did I mention, has anyone ever thought to ask what the f--k does his "art" even mean? Sorry for the rant. but this is near my place and he sucks.
