On Tuesday, I posted photos from EV Grieve reader
AWKWORD showing new street art created by graffiti legend
Cost... The box on Second Avenue near Houston was part of the recent
Showpaper exhibit...

I went to take some photos of it this weekend... and the newsbox is gone...

Stolen? Or confiscated by the city?
For more on the boxes, check out the
NYPress cover story this week.

I also saw a box covered in da-gupage (sp?!) collage of women, and random stickers & photos of the capital.
Inside was a newspaper advertising asian "escorts" called 'Honey Honey'. The box was on the corner of 1st St & 1st Ave by the other free newspaper boxes & noone else seem to notice it! I took a bunch of photos of it. Sadly, the box was gone the next morning. I am happy to send the photos to you--not sure how tho'
