har dee har har these comments are all very "funny" but this is no laughing matter... Will someone offer some serious advice on how to actively oppose/fight the ongoing assault on affordable living in our city? Our own mayor advocates (everyone else) living in a shoebox and the best we can do is snark about it?
If you read the article, the Mayor wants to change regulations to make apartments smaller than legally allowed. does anyone else think that's ridiculous considering how many huge luxury buildings are going up with large spacious units and people like Schwimmer or Economakis are taking multiple unit dwellings and turning them into mansions? It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. I think small living can be great if done creatively, but this is just arrogant coming from a guy who lives in a huge townhouse and thinks Gracie Mansion isn't good enough for him.

Can you throw in a 60-inch flat screen and one of those single-serving espresso machines?
Meh. It really needs Danish Black Oak hardwood floors.
This is where David Schwimmer's P.A. is going to live.
Thanks for the laugh this morning. ;)
Where the city is your front yard, literally.
I like it!
I see they've chosen to go with the new trend of concrete countertops over granite. Fancy.
you're paying extra tax if you step out of the box
Just $12k per month!
Where's my doorman? How did you get past the front desk?

hahaha... funny. thanks.
The mayor is lucky, he doesn't have a 4th or 5th floor walk up. He has connections, I guess, to get the 1st floor!
