20 years of the NYC Anarchist Book Fair on display at C-Squat

The New York City Anarchist Book Fair is marking its 20th anniversary with an exhibition and book launch tomorrow evening at C-Squat and the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space, 155 Avenue C between Ninth Street and 10th Street. 

"Incendiary Thoughts: 20 Years of NYCABF" brings together materials produced, collected, and distributed during the past two decades of the annual book fair, offering a visual history of the event and the community around it. 

The NYC Anarchist Book Fair now features more than 60 exhibitors each year, including publishers, writers, activists, artists, musicians, and organizers. 

The opening will also include the release of two books documenting the fair's history: "Incendiary Thoughts: Our Second Decade" and "AnarkoArtLab," featuring interviews, images and other material from the past 20 years. 

The exhibition opening and book launch take place tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 23) from 7-9 p.m. Books will be available for purchase. 

The Book Fair is Saturday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at La Plaza Cultural on the SW corner of Avenue C and Ninth Street.
