"Girls," the HBO television program entering its fourth season, will be filming in and around the neighborhood this week.
Signs are up along the Bowery and East Third Street for Tuesday … and on St. Mark's Place (and East Ninth Street) between Second Avenue and Third Avenue for Wednesday …

There are likely more filming notices on other streets, but we didn't really look too closely for them.

Could it be that the Fab Four can afford the newly pressurized rents of the East Village? Are they moving here or just bar-hopping, yoga-ing or brunching...
More filming.
Great.
Not.
@ Anon 8:11 - maybe yogurting?
Oh man, I thought Mötley Crüe was making a 21st century music video version of that song; I'd have been there lining-up earlier than those Cronutters.
So does this mean that East Village is the new Greenpoint, or is Greenpoint is the new East Village? I'm so ever confused. Tell me.
