Disgusting. The penalties are clearly not strong enough against employers, or this would not continue. There must be a hammer, not a slap on the wrist.
Anonymous 4:50, Because it's an isolated example. At least for 7-Eleven. These organizations supply laborers for all sort of small businesses, though. That's what makes them so hard to locate.

Sorry but 7 11 is nasty. They were nasty back in the burbs and they're nasty here in the city. Good for cigs and nothing else. Just sayin.
The 7-11 on 14th street by 2nd avenue has hired local kids as its staff. Not sure what to make of that.
One store I could understand, but so many locations and their corporate offices didn't know?
