The Grabstein's Bagels outpost opened yesterday at 651 Broadway between Bleecker Bond.
This is the third outpost (joining the UES and Prospect Heights) for the brand, whose owners, we're told, are also behind Pick A Bagel on the UES and in Midtown West.

Grabstein's was THE kosher deli in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn, when that was a mostly Jewish neighborhood in the 50s-70s. Assume whoever owns this bought the trademark.
Comment from a friend whose Grandparents lived near Grabstein’s in Brooklyn: “ Grabs was a great deli. Great theater too. The family all worked there and they argued. And there were two large bald sons who always went at it.”
I do not believe anyone bought the trademark. I think the trademark expired & was never renewed by the last owner of Grabstein's Delicatessen, who went bankrupt around 1999.
