Saying that NY's rat situation is no different than pre-pandemic (SHEDS) NY is like saying Florida has alway had rain and calling each hurricane "just rain".
The worst is outside of Pause on Clinton they have left like 2 feet for pedestrians, have multiple massive structures that haven't moved in years, tables and chairs all over the sidewalk and tons of food remnants and trash surrounding it, the rats go willlllllld there. Restaurants and only restaurants get to do whatever they want right now it's so weird.

When humans leave the rats will starve, it's survival of the fittest and the rats are winning.
