In case the dog's owner reads EV Grieve and is looking for tips...I saw an older Pomeranian on Avenue A near Gracefully at E. 4th on Saturday around noon. The dog (no leash) was standing on the sidewalk with 3 or 4 men surrounding him. I thought it was odd because the men looked like they were having a conversation (not in English) about the dog. I mean, when do you see grown men having a conversation about a small frou-frou type of dog? I didn't give it a second thought because the dog didn't seem upset or lost.

Funny because I saw people putting up signs for "Pomeranians for Sale" yesterday in the East Village.
Perhaps just a coincidence.
When did the dog go missing?
