A rather terrified Avenue B resident passes along this info about a New Year's Eve bash at the shuttered Le Souk...

the sla gives out special one night licenses for new year's eve and other events.
i don't know if it has to go before cb#3 or how one goes about getting one.
an article in the, i don't remember where, mentioned that there were far fewer one night licenses this year.
Getting skeeved out just thinking about this event.
Impossible! I was in the old Le Souk last night inquirinng about what they were doing with some old furniture. There is no more front bar even. And half the contents went out to the trash this past week as per this post: http://evgrieve.com/2010/12/this-past-weekend-outside-le-souk.html
