So pretty.....the coral color of the brick and the dusty white blooms on the trees. Nice.
Love this address. Parking machine aside, this is what I envision the neighborhood looking like in the 50s-60s. Small businesses catering to people who lived in the neighborhood. We'll check back in some day to find a artisanal ice cube stand here.
Don't jinx this block, please. There used to be a sausage factory where the Ukrainian museum is now. When they tore it down, I used to see rats the size of cats in my backyard on 5th Street. But at least the Ukrainians were local, thus had a sense of perspective and built a structure that nicely fit into the neighborhood. The developers now destroying this wonderful community are cultural vultures.
