Workers continue 7-Elevening the former J.A.S. Mart on St. Mark's Place
As you may unfortunately remember, we reported that a 7-Eleven will soon open on St. Mark's Place at Second Avenue in the the former J.A.S. Mart. (The official address is 133 Second Ave.)
Workers have been molding the 7-Eleven into shape, as this shot from yesterday by Bobby Williams shows... expect the sign and awning any day or two now ...

Are you kidding me?
I used to go there all the time when I lived on 9th St.
Hope it's a Japanese 7/11 instead of American...
i hate this so much
Sh*t! I loved that JAS Mart, especially when the upstairs part served hot food. Curry Club!
7-Eleven the new bedbug.
7-Eleven the new Subway.
The only way to stop this madness is to not shop at these 7-11s. And don't let your friends shop there either. It took a decade, but it worked with that Gap on the corner. We gotta start somewhere.
Are they taking the lower-level space also? Or is JAS Mart keeping that?
