Last night, Dave on 7th noted that car that was pulled over on Avenue A, causing the M15 driver to honk his horn for 10 minutes before finally just going around the vehicle...
Another reader shared this scene from Second Avenue at East Sixth Street... where a stretch limo was parked in the bus lane...
Only to be replaced by a stretch Hummer several hours later...
Per the reader: "Kudos to NYPD Traffic Enforcement for their business-friendly attitude."

And the best part, the 9th Precinct house is literally about 100 yards from this.
Like I said, machine guns under the headlights.
White limos are TACKY!
If the NYPD won't take street safety seriously and ticket these pretentious douchebags, there are other sanctions available to local citizens on an informal basis... use your imagination, and perhaps something that's really hard to clean off....
I always wonder, who actually uses those things?
That was the M14A on Ave A, right?
What's the law regarding bus lanes? I've seen plenty of cars park in them after hours. This shot on 2nd Ave is right by a bus stop so parking there is most likely prohibited no matter what.
...and another white stretch limo idling around midnight at E 9th St & 1st Ave at the bus stop in front of the Bean.
i really resent the air pollution this causes in the neighborhood. it's like freakin limo-land these days. they should be ticketed for idling and for parking illegally, i guess the NYPD takes a blind eye to this because their main function is to guard the rich and crush any dissonance in the fascist police state we are living in.
The NYPD is seriously nothing but a joke - a bad one.
The Ninth Precinct is on Avenue C at 8th Street. This is Avenue A at 6th. That's not 100 yards. It's closer to half a mile.
