TV show love outside Vazac's
"Golden Boy" cast members Theo James and Bonnie Somerville (yes, we looked it up) on Seventh Street and Avenue B today. The incoming CBS NYPD-related drama about the two best looking detectives in history filmed all over the place today... or so it seemed.
I enjoyed Bonnie Summerville's Brooklyn-based character in Cashmere Mafia, despite the fact the series stunk of pre-financial crisis New York (a la SATC-TM 1). Glad she's back filming in NY.
Not that I'll miss the film crews, but when NYC becomes nothing but a sea of glass, steel, and national chain stores, these people will have nowhere left to film. I will never get over the irony of the Holiday Cocktail lounge being used for a film shoot within a week of them being forced to close down.
Who are these people? More pseudo-actors in yet another routing cop show that will air for 10 or 12 episodes and be cancelled. Then back to TV commercials. That's who.

Yay, Universal Studios New York City.
Matching blue suits. How sweet!

They should cut down on the Botox.

@ glamma:
The Holiday Lounge is slated to re-open within a very few weeks. Run and operated by locals!
