Yes, let's praise a street-gang of 45-60 yr old bloated farting losers. They are the least we should be proud of in the East Village. What's up with that EV?
Was going to comment how for years I thought the HA was the first few letters of happy holidays from my partial view on 2nd st, trheb saw someone beat me to it in that older post you linked. Well +1.
Like it or not anonymous coward [you fat bloated farting piece of crap loser] the Hells Angels have played a big part in the cultural scene in the neighborhood and were on third street long before aholes like you moved in.In fact for years people used to say it was the only block in the neighborhood no one got mugged on because the Angels protected the block. Please if you feel so strongly about them put your name on the post cause I think you are a member of another motorcycle club. Like I have said before I put my name on posts and don't say nasty things hiding like a chickens--t coward.
They are the least 'we' should be proud of in the East Village.
Are you using the royal we? For what it's worth: There was a black woman with sickle cell anemia living in the HA building. They NEVER charged her rent, and the girlfriends of the members cooked her daily meals.
john penley your post shows how wrong you are about this neighborhood. culture? safety? only block no one got mugged on? i'll bet the woman that was thrown off their roof didn't think they protected the block. they beat up anybody that didn't look right to them, and most of us didn't walk down their block. i don't consider that protection.
I'm a local bartender. The HA guys have always been cool to me and my friends. They won't give you a problem unless there's a reason to. And are the first to help you out if there is a problem.

Do they own the building?
Are there rental tenants up there?
