Maiden Lane now open full time on 10th and B
[Photo from April 28 by Shawn Chittle]
The folks at Maiden Lane passed along word that they received their liquor license yesterday... and are now open seven days a week — noon to midnight. (They were open for coffee and tea and stuff during the days going back to late April.) You can find their food and drink menu here.
The cafe took over part of the space on Avenue B and East 10th Street that previously housed Life Cafe.
And tonight...

fanatastic, finally a place in the area to buy wine and beer.
ugh, no comment on the decor...
i guess they are trying to match the blandness and superficiality of the EV "fine dining" crowd..
RIP Life Cafe (and the best nachos in the EV : (
Being someone who works everyday in a building on Maiden Lane, I hope someone opens a shop across the street from me called "10th and B" - irony complete.
it's a great and affordable addition to the neighborhood. I went in yesterday for whitefish salad and it was tasty. Nice young guys running the place. Wish them the best!
Glad that there is something finally open in that space. Looking forward to checking it out. I hope they do takeout?
