My co-worker says they were for the USA Upfronts (which would explain the USA fireworks).
Supposedly the fireworks were for the USA Upfronts, which took place last night.
I was told it was for the fourth of July Spectacular, filming for tv, & Tim McGraw was performing.

I googled "USA Upfronts". I still haven't the faintest idea what that is / means (?)
Upfronts are when TV networks present their upcoming shows for the new season to advertisers. Almost every channel does it and it's a huge to-do.
