A quick
monthly check-in over at The Jefferson on East 13th Street... where there's a lot more brick and glass exposed..
Per Streeteasy, eight of the units are now in contract ... including a two-bedroom penthouse with roof terrace ($2.85 million asking price). Remaining homes range in price from $1.9 million to $2.2 million here at
the former Mystery Lot.

Can't wait for the souls of the dead to haunt the place like Poltergeist.

Two million bucks a pop! Goddang!
Wow! That's a lot of money to live on top of a body farm!
Not ugly. Sorry, haters.
The glassy eyed stare.
Nice glass. Very reflecty.
Large windows must be great if one can afford to live in said buildings. From the street, it all seems "the same"... this building, 3rd Ave/12th, etc. etc. Presume the architects are dealing with financial constraints, blah blah blah.
Probably everyone said that about the tenements too, cause, "Gees, all that brick!" Having an interior window in a tenement didn't begin until 1901, with the New Law and advent of the lightwell.
Apropos of nothing on a cloudy day, just some thoughts.
