Hey, Funkiberry is now open on 3rd Avenue
Another FroYo choice as of yesterday here at East 12th Street.
Can you feel the excitement?
This is the third Funkiberry location in NYC. And according to the Funkiberry website, they are — apparently for real — opening locations in Moscow, Rome, Kiev, Paris and Fuzhou.

Oh, thank god! If I had to wait one more day to rule the portions, the choices, and, most especially, the scene, I was gonna die!! WOO HOO FUNKIBERRY!!
[Over/under on Funkiberry closing: 4 months]
judging by the signage, no way this lasts longer than a year. "closed for renovations" in six months.
I thought this was a Toys R Us.
I rode past here the other day and the signage looks much worse than it does in a photo. It is a plasticky nightmare. It would look shitty and rudely out of place in the cheesiest mall in America. It is a blight on the whole area and I feel bad for everyone who lives within sight of this piece of shit. Also they are hopping on the froyo bandwagon a little bit late. It is definitely on the way out. Even more so as people are realizing that dietary fat is not the problem and that a low-fat diet is not necessarily healthy.
Based on the bright primary (as in primary school) colors of that sign, my guess is their target market is either three year olds or people with the mental capacity of a three year old. Therefore they should do very well in this neighborghood.
Haha @ Giovanni- nailed it
But guys, it's premium froyo!
Funk this.
Gone by September!
Def money laundering
It's crowded... just walked past.
Thankfully on 3rd Avenue... Almost NOT East Village!
After much consideration, I've come to the conclusion that if everybody rules the scene at Funkiberries then nobody does.
Surprisingly some of the best frozen yogurt i ever ate. The staff is very friendly and the toffee flavor is to die for
