One can hope and dream... (Also, not sure where the note writer is getting his or her wind velocity info...)

In a strong wind, these wind chimes on 7th Street are keeping residents awake

Wow, now I am really curious to the sound level these chimes reach on the average breezy day. Could someone record the chimes tonight and share?
The sentence structure is horrible. I can just about hear the vocal fry with every "...".
I'm not a fan of the elipses in that note but I do agree with the person's request. If you won't take them in for a "historic" blizzard, then you're kind of being a dick. If they don't bring them in, I'd record it if it gets bad and email the audio file to the landlord.
I would take wind chimes any day compared to the person I have to listen to every night until 4 am banging and dragging things around. Violin.
Thanks for continued reportage on the wind chimes saga. Remember living across from wind chimes two buildings away. It is not soothing for the nerves esp. jiggling and jangling at unexpected times and hours. My best to the long sufferers. I feel your pain.
