Here's what the inside of the luxury condos at 50 Clinton St. will look like
An EVG reader sent us this photo last Thursday showing the newly arrived sidewalk bridge along the soon-to-be-demolished 50-62 Clinton St. between Stanton and Rivington.
As previously reported, 7 stories featuring 37 luxury residences will rise from the single-floor row of storefronts that once included noted chef Wylie Dufresne's WD-50.
Now today, Curbed got the first look at the new teaser site for the condos. Take a gander at what awaits, including soft-looking towels in the bathroom ...
Per the 50 Clinton St. site, one-bedroom units will start at $975,000, two-bedroom homes are priced at $1.75 million and "penthouses in glass and with amazing city views at $3M." There will also be a doorman, gym and "lush gardens and rooftops terraces."
And last we saw... here's the final Ramy Isaac rendering ...
Head over to BoweryBoogie for more on all the comings and goings at this address.

The toilet is too close to the wall. How is that luxury?
Why would anyone pay that much to live in a "ghetto, shithole, too much liquor licenses area". That's what they think of it, so hopefully nobody moves in.
I wouldn't live there if they paid me.
ha! i also thought that toilet is really squooshed into that corner
Agree about the toilet positioning (also, where's the TP?) but the renderings actually look really nice! I like the location and the price point could be worse. Thanks for sharing.
At least the facade looks like someone put some thought into it.
In terms of the toilet being too close to the wall for use, I believe they are sending a message;
Wanted: 'People who are too beautiful to poop'.
Erm, just noticed - the Gojira who would not live there if they paid him/her is not me, the longtime poster. I don't know who is doing this or why, but it is extremely tiresome and juvenile.
But I did make the remark about the facade. See how confusing this is thanks to some witless idiot who has decided to ape me for whatever stupid reason?
There are far worse looking buildings, so at least it's not some ultra-modern monstrosity.
good looking façade. toilet can't really be like that under nyc code
